We are an Integrated Pest Management (IPM) farm, which is a science-based decision-making environmentally sensitive approach to farming.

 

Each Tuesday during the growing season our farm scout, Jim Mussoni, creates a plan to identify and manage pests. Jim works in research at the University of Massachusetts and has worked with Spring Brook Farm for more than twenty years.

 

Our goal is to maintain clean air, water, and fertile soil for a balanced, healthy ecosystem. Spring Brook Farm is home to forty endangered plant, animal, and reptile species and is a home for all living things.
